While this smash and floss will help with the acute pain, only changing your movement patterns will really remove the threat of shin splints! So think of this as a band-aid, rather than a cure.
Today’s mindfulness work is a consideration of the classic metaphor– your mind is the sky, and your thoughts are the clouds.
This is a very effective and powerful visualization technique to frame the inner workings of your mind. Stew on this for a while, then sit down and box breathe. Let those thoughts and clouds pass.
